1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Check My Tracking (“CMT,” “the Service”) at checkmytracking.io, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

CMT is a web-based tool that audits Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager configurations. The Service analyzes your tracking setup using read-only API access and generates reports with scores, identified issues, and recommendations for improvement.

3. Account Registration

To use CMT, you must sign in with a Google account that has access to the Google Analytics properties you wish to audit. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Google API Access

CMT requests read-only access to your Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager data via OAuth 2.0. By granting access, you confirm that you have the authority to allow CMT to read the selected properties and containers. CMT will never modify your Google Analytics or GTM configuration.

5. Pricing and Payments

CMT offers a Free plan (3 audits per month on 1 GA4 property, full access to all 65+ checks, 7-day audit history). Paid plans — Solo ($29/month) and Agency ($99/month) — unlock unlimited audits, extended history, PDF export, and, on Agency, an AI executive summary, white-label reports, and up to 25 properties. Full details are on the pricing page. Prices are in USD, billed monthly, and subject to change with 30 days’ notice to existing subscribers. You can cancel at any time from the billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on first payment.

6. Audit Reports — No Guarantee

Audit reports are generated automatically based on available API data and predefined checks. While we strive for accuracy, CMT does not guarantee that reports are error-free or that following recommendations will produce specific results. Reports are informational and should not be considered professional consulting advice.

7. Data Leak Calculator Disclaimer

The Data Leak Calculator provides estimates of potential revenue impact based on your traffic profile and identified issues. These are approximations for illustrative purposes only. Actual impact depends on your industry, business model, traffic patterns, and many other factors. CMT is not responsible for business decisions made based on these estimates.

8. Intellectual Property

The CMT service, including its audit methodology, scoring algorithm, user interface, and content, is the intellectual property of CMT. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service without written permission.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to audit properties you do not have authorization to access
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits or access controls
• Resell audit reports without a valid agency subscription
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the Service
• Interfere with the Service’s infrastructure or other users’ experience

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CMT shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of revenue, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by emailing support@checkmytracking.io. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the European Union. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of the jurisdiction where the service operator is established.
